Our MBA Program is Structured
to Fit Your Life
We understand the demands of working professionals, so our programs are structured to meet your need for convenience. The Lake Forest MBA is designed so you can progress at your own pace -- typically completing the program in two to four years, and attending classes on weeknights or Saturdays. You may attend MBA classes at our campuses in Schaumburg or Lake Forest, or on site at select corporate locations in the Chicago area.

Specialization Options
While many prospective MBA students choose not to declare a program specialization in favor of truly broadening their thinking, all Lake Forest MBA students choose three electives during the course of their study. If the combination of the three electives you choose qualifies you for a degree specialization, this can be a great, focused learning opportunity and an added academic credential that can give you an edge in your career.

Creating Broad Thinkers and Strong Leaders
The Lake Forest MBA offers a broad knowledge base in the areas that are critical for success in today’s business environment. The general management MBA requires 13 core units plus three elective units. General management MBA students may enroll in any elective course at any campus location, provided that course prerequisites have been met.

The Coursework is Challenging, But Working with Us Isn’t
At LFGSM, our program is heavy on relevant learning and light on bureaucracy. From the admissions process through the classroom experience, all the way to graduation, we pride ourselves on the personal touch and will be responsive to your needs as a working professional.
For example, students are pre-registered for all their core courses when they start the program. You don’t have to wait in registration lines and risk not getting into a required course. If you need to change your schedule, the Registrar will personally work with you to best accommodate your individual scheduling needs.
